The Cable Directory believes that Customers will enjoy the benefits that the thecabledirectory.com web site offer but regret that due to the nature of online services The Cable Directory is not able to make refunds against services that have been confirmed by the Customer and provided by The Cable Directory.
The Cable Directory cannot provide refunds for purchased Directory, Data Sheets, Direct Knowledge Portal and all Company Advertising Services from the thecabledirectory.com web site. The Cable Directory will however replace, free of charge, any files corrupted by the download process.
After confirmation of payment terms no refunds will be made for services that have been provided and The Cable Directory will accept no responsibility for any technical difficulties that occur outside of The Cable Directory own network and/or direct control.
In the event that a technical fault occurs within The Cable Directory own network and that access to the Directory, Data Sheets or Direct Knowledge Portal is denied or restricted customers must contact The Cable Directory to request a 'Claim Form' within 30 days of the date of denied service or restricted access. The Cable Directory will provide the Customer with a 'Claim Form' that must be completed by the Customer and be returned to The Cable Directory within 10 days. In the event that a Customer considers that an error has been made on their account, including an incorrect amount or unauthorised transaction, the Customer agrees to contact The Cable Directory within 120 days of the transaction date. Upon proper notification The Cable Directory may at its sole discretion issue a credit to the Customers Bank Card. In order to obtain a refund or credit the customers must provide the correct e-mail address and/or mailing address to The Cable Directory. The Cable Directory will not be liable for any claims of non-receipt of a 'Claim Form' that was a result of an incorrect email address and/or mailing address provided by the Customer to The Cable Directory. The Customer is responsible for providing a correct/working e-mail address. The Cable Directory will investigate each claim and where a claim is validated The Cable Directory may at their discretion offer compensation to the customer in the form of a refund (full or part) or credit. The Cable Directory liability will in all cases be limited to the value of the specific services that have been confirmed by the customer and The Cable Directory will accept no liability nor offer any compensation for any claim for loss and/or damage resulting as a direct or indirect failure of The Cable Directory (proven or otherwise) including but not limited to it's network, personnel and software.
Fraudulent Credit Card Charges or Fraudulent Claims - All requests to negate charges are investigated and suspected fraudulent claims of unauthorised card usage will be reported to the credit card services and could result in cancellation of card services, affect Customers credit report and/or could result in criminal charges being filed.
The Cable Directory reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at its discretion, or against any customer it believes is abusing this policy. Any such revision or change will be binding and effective immediately after posting of the revised Refund Policy on the The Cable Directory Web sites. Customers agree to periodically review the The Cable Directory web site where the Refund policy will be made available.
