New Fox-Flo® delivers high performance LSZH cable labelling
Friday, Feb 22, 2013
Silver Fox, the UK manufacturer of high performance labelling solutions, has launched its latest range of UV-stable, zero halogen, tie-on cable labels. Called Fox-Flo®, the new labels have been designed to offer a tough, reliable and cost-effective method of securely marking cables in any application where LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) is specified.
The new Fox-Flo labels have been developed to save instrument and electrical engineers time and money. Each label is 1mm thick, offering excellent flexibility and strength, for long life and resilience in the most demanding of conditions, and is quick and simple to apply using standard nylon or stainless steel cable ties. Labels are supplied as rolls in a free dispensing pack, and are pre-perforated for fast and clean tear-off from the roll.
Just as importantly, Fox-Flo labels can easily be printed using the Silver Fox Plug'N'Play thermal printer. This can also be supplied with the company’s Labacus labelling software, which uses a combination of pre-loaded templates, powerful free-form fields and the ability to import data files, to help end users easily create, manage and print complex sequences of identification or serial numbers on all label media. Fox-Flo Zero Halogen Tie-On Cable Labels are currently available in two widths – 15 and 25mm – with options for 80, 100 and 120mm lengths.
“The response from engineers to Fox-Flo has been extremely positive,” said Nick Michaelson, Managing Director of Silver Fox. “They are looking for proven label strength and reliability in specialised applications. Additionally, they want the reassurance that comes from working with a company that manufacturers in the UK, and that offers an extensive range of label options, with dependable, customer-focussed technical and support services around the world.”
