B3 Cable Solutions win Gold at RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards 2007
B3 Cable Solutions in Manchester have again won one of the prestigious RoSPA Occupational Health &
Safety Awards for 2007.
The Gold Award will be presented at a special ceremony at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel,
National Exhibition Centre, on Tuesday May 22 which runs alongside Safety & Health Expo 2007, the UK’s
premier health and safety at work exhibition.
David Rawlins, RoSPA Awards Manager said, “B3 Cable Solutions have demonstrated how seriously they
take health and safety management and are a fine example to many other companies. We would like
to see more organisations following their lead.”
Steve Ellis, Managing Director for B3 Cable Solutions said, “Everyone at B3 is delighted to have won one
of the RoSPA Occupational Health & Safety Awards in 2007, particularly as this is the second year in
succession that we have received the Gold Award. We believe that continuous improvement of our
health and safety performance is vital for us as a forward-thinking employer, and is key to the ongoing
development of our business.”
The RoSPA awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and case of ill-health at work;
they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place.
Entering the awards scheme reinforces the message that good health and safety is good business and
clearly demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to the achievement of high levels of performance in
this crucial area.
The awards are sponsored by NEBOSH (The National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and
Health), the leading health and safety professional examining body.
